The PRS Fiore Electric Guitar, a result of the collaborative effort between the luthiers at Paul Reed Smith and accomplished guitarist, composer, producer, and instructor Mark Lettieri. Named after the Italian word for ‘flower,’ the Fiore boasts a body made from swamp Ash, making this guitar slightly lighter than most of its size, as well as contributing to a familiar resonance commonly found in Telecasters. The body also features a 2-point steel tremolo bridge for expressive pitch modulation.
The Fiore features a 22-fret maple neck with a maple fretboard, featuring a unique “Fiore” neck profile, a design brought to life by Lettieri’s personal preferences. On the fretboard, PRS’ iconic bird inlays are the visual focus, and the fingerboard offers a total scale length of 25.5″.
Newly-designed PRS Fiore pickups, also created collaboratively with Mark Lettieri, set the stage for this guitar to sonically shine. The Fiore-S single coil, found in both the bridge and middle positions, capture playing nuances ranging from delicate, super-quiet melodies to much larger and harsher funk and rock playing, with clarity. The Fiore-H humbucker, strategically placed in the Fiore’s bridge, offers versatility, delivering both power and grit for high-gain lead tones. A 5-way blade switch with traditional wiring allows players to transition between bridge, bridge + middle, middle, middle + neck, and neck positions. Complementing this is a single volume control and two push/pull tone controls.
The Fiore features a beautiful gloss finish in “Amaryllis”, a deep striking red that remains uninterrupted by the absence of a pickguard on its body. This guitar comes with an included gigbag for secure travel and storage.
